After attaching the cotton around the
frame, she prime the canvas with white as
background color, which makes the material
stronger and more robust and also serve as
a ground for acrylic paints.
The artist uses only materials which
are Halal (lawful) for her paintings.
She use synthetic brushes or brushes
made from the hair of goat and ox.
At this point we would like to point out again that the
artist does not use bristle brushes done from the hairs
of pig or other animals which are forbidden to
eat (according to Islamic law)!
